How to Grow Seedlings
As part of our plans for year two of The Victory Garden, we started some of our plants from seed in order to grow our own seedlings.
This four-part video series, Master Gardener and volunteer Sonia takes you through the steps of planting, growing and caring for seedlings, and how to finally plant them in the garden. Once the seedlings were planted in May, we invited participants to come out to the Victory Garden to learn more about how to help these little plants flourish!
Worm Composting
Learn about using worm castings, or worm manure, to fertilize your garden!
Victory Garden volunteer Sonia returns for this short series, where she’ll teach how how to build a worm bin, feed worms, and harvest castings. The scientific name for this process is known as “Vermicomposting”, but it can also be considered worm farming!
